Sean was born in London and lived there until he was five before moving to the French Alps region where he grew up. He passed his A-levels in Economics and Sociology at a local French school in 2010 at the age of eighteen and subsequently spent two years in Lyon, France, studying languages.
In 2012, upon deciding to start working, he was employed by a well-known independent Insurance Brokerage firm first in Lausanne and then Geneva, Switzerland, where his linguistic talents were very useful in the International Department of the company. He then decided to specialise in Marine Insurance, more specifically the Claims, Recovery, Stock and Warehouse controlling aspect of the job. He assisted and managed an insurance portfolio of internationally renowned Trading companies.
After five years he decided that he wanted to relocate and work in the UK which led to him joining the Vallis Commodities Francophone West Africa team in July 2018. He is bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.
In his spare time Sean enjoys reading, swimming, watching films, decent music, good food, socialising and spending time with his large family.
